Abstract Submission is now closed.

Thank you to all who submitted abstracts for this conference. The presentations have been selected and added to the conference program.


Researchers and expert scientists from research institutes, academia and industry are invited to present their recent findings and visions about the research, development, processing of wheat landraces within the 6 subject areas as detailed under the conference session topics.

The language of the conference is English.

The conference will be organized in a series of thematically ordered sessions. Contributions will be strictly evaluated by the Scientific Committee for their scientific quality and relevance. All contributions accepted will be assigned to a specific session and will be included in the official Conference Proceedings.

Some contributions will be selected for publication in a special issue of the Journal of the Science of Food and Agriculture. We will provide more updates at a later date.


Guidelines to Abstract Submission

The Scientific Committee seeks original abstracts that fit the subject areas listed above.

All abstracts must be submitted on-line not later than the 15th March 2018. Please note that abstracts sent by fax or regular mail will not be accepted.

The abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. The presenting author will be notified about the final decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of the abstract latest by the 15th April 2018.

Please note:

  • Abstract submissions for Oral presentations close on 15th March 2018.
  • Abstract submissions for Poster Presentations close on 15th April 2018
  • The invitation to submit an abstract does not constitute an offer to pay travel, accommodation or registration costs associated with the Conference. All speakers and poster contributors must register for the Conference.
  • Abstracts that do not include sufficient data may be rejected.
  • Authors of submissions will be notified via email by latest 15th April 2018.

Those who are not selected as a speaker maybe invited to participate in the poster session.

Important Information

  • Abstracts must be author's own work.
  • List name of presenting author FIRST
  • Include all co-author's names and organizations
  • Abstracts should contain sufficient data to represent the proposed presentation, to enable fair assessment
  • Length of lecture and discussion is 15+5 min.
  • The abstract without references should be 400-500 words.

Instructions for Presenters

Oral Presentations

Speaking Time

The session leader will be strict in allowing no more than the time allocated to your paper.
Discussion will take place immediately after your presentation.
Length of the presentation is 15 + 5 minutes discussion is included.

Projection and Technical Setting

All rooms are equipped with (Windows) PC and data projector for Power Point presentation only.

Handing in Your Presentation

Your presentation must be handed over to the technical desk in the auditorium before the first session of the day via USB-Memory Stick.

The lecture room is equipped with Windows-PC.
File Format: Microsoft® Power Point™ presentation formatted for Windows® (PC) only.

Posters

Mounting of posters

All posters will be mounted by organisers on June 13th from 8.00 – 11.00.

Removal of posters

Thursday, June 14th, from 17.00 – 19.00

The poster boards are 100 cm by 200 cm long portrait orientation. The suggested poster size is A0 format (84,1 x 118,9 cm)
